Purpose To support projects that present creative approaches to the study of invention and innovation in American society.

Qualifications Applicants must be pre-doctoral graduate students, post-doctoral scholars and other professional who have completed advanced training; fellows are expected to reside in the Washington, DC area, to participate in the Center's activities, and to make presentations on their work to colleagues at the museum.
Criteria Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Number of Awards 2 to 3.
To Apply Applicants must include a complete application consisting of an abstract, bibliography, curriculum vitae, project/research proposal, and three references from people familiar with their work.
Deadline November 1.
